Disco. Glitz. Grunge. Y2K. It’s Pride Prom Through the Ages.
The Tavern at Zaca Creek in Buellton will host the event on June 12, which benefits Santa Ynez Valley Pride and House of Pride and Equality. Pride Prom is meant to give members of the LGBTQ-plus community a safe space to show up as their authentic selves and celebrate queer joy.
“Whether you never got the prom you deserved or you’re just ready for an unforgettable night with your community, this is your moment,” the organizations announced.
From throwback favorites to today’s hits, DJ Darla Bea will take care of the tunes. Pre-purchase dance requests if there’s one song you can’t make it through the night without hearing. Dancers may dress up in their favorite era, as the theme suggests, but are also welcome to embody their own representation of Pride Prom Through the Ages.
Guests 21 years and older are invited to join the party from 7 to 11 p.m. General admission costs $20 and includes appetizers. Drinks are available for purchase, and The Tavern is providing complimentary shuttle rides after the event to designated drop-off locations. Reserve rides online before the dance.
Buy tickets and sponsorships online at givebutter.com/prideprom2026. The Tavern is located at 1297 Jonata Park Road in Buellton.
