Our Democrat Congress and president have on their agenda universal health care for all. I commend them on this effort. It is a good start, but it does not go far enough. Consider, how often does one go to a medical doctor or a hospital? Does one go once a month? Once a week? Once every six months?

Food, however, one needs pretty much every day, so I submit that the government should provide universal food coverage, so that people will not die of starvation. Studies have shown that the American people are grossly underweight and bordering on starvation.

And wait, doesn’t everyone need a house for shelter to live in every day, regardless of his ability to pay for the house? Shouldn’t the government provide that as well? Oh, wait. The government is already doing that.

And a car—doesn’t everyone need a car to get to work in order to make money to pay taxes for the above programs? We need universal car coverage.

And college! Our current president has stated that every person should be able to go to college. We, therefore, should have free universal college attendance for all, regardless of intellectual ability or preparation.

With these embellishments to the current thinking about universal entitlements, we would be on the way toward a great society where all people would be equal. All would have the necessities provided, and all would have the time, unencumbered with the pressure of providing for oneself, to work altruistically for the global betterment of all people.
