Compliments to the Sun for its opinion article by Gale McNeeley (“The Freedom to say ‘no,’” May 12), which discussed Dennis Apel receiving four months in jail for being against war. The leaders of the corporations that promote war are the ones that belong in jail in my opinion—not Dennis. Dennis inspired me to protest war at the entrance to Vandenberg Air Force Base about 25 times. Homo sapiens need to use intelligence to avoid self-destruction.
