The Santa Barbara County Teachers Network will recognize the county’s outstanding educators at its 28th annual gala celebration May 17 at Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton.
Sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, the event will feature winners of Venoco, Inc.’s Crystal Apple Awards, as well as the recipients of grants for instructional strategy teams, technology, and research and curriculum.
Venoco, Inc. Community Relations Coordinator Marybeth Carty will emcee.
North County Crystal Apple winners include Los Berros Elementary School teacher Julie Padfield; Los Robles High School teachers Victor Prato and Melanie Sutton; Adam Elementary School Principal Laurie Graack; and Los Robles High School special education aide Coleen Hefley.
