What’s it rated? TV-14
When? 2026
Where’s it showing? Netflix

We all know Zach Galifianakis as a very funny man, and with this new series, he’s using his humor to bring light to a message the actor and comedian is very passionate about—the future is agrarian. In this short and sweet series, Galifianakis visits schools and farms, talks to kids and growers, and learns alongside the audience about the foods on their plates.

He asks kids about the foods they eat, where they come from, and speckles in dad jokes along the way. Talking to experts, he explores orchards and fields and forests. I love when a series like this feels light and breezy but also offers learning opportunities—this would be a great one to watch with kids. The good news is we all get to learn. For example, did you know that essentially every apple tree grown for fruiting is grafted? Or that the word vegetable exists essentially for botanical purposes: Things aren’t vegetables—they’re roots, leaves, flowers, or other parts of a plant.

Quite simply, this show is an absolute delight, and one I can see myself watching again and again, particularly when I need a soothing subject and a laugh. (six 15- to 20-min. episodes)
