Sharing the same backing band, three eclectic singer-songwriters are hitting the road for a collaborative tour that will stretch from Portland, Oregon, to Ojai, California. The second-to-last show on the docket takes place at Standing Sun Winery in Buellton on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m.. Rather than cause a fuss over whoās āheadliningā and whatnot, I commend the showās poster for listing each of the three equally talented artists in alphabetical order, as shall I.

LA-based performer Coby Brown recently produced his fourth album, Everything Looks Different To Me Now, which was recorded over the course of two years and four separate sessions. āCannonballā was the first single to premiere, and was named KCRWās Song of the Day upon its release. Iām sure Patton Oswalt starring in the trackās stellar music video had nothing to do with it.

Indie-rock, alt-country, and Americana artist Brad Byrd (not to be confused with acclaimed animator Brad Bird, director of The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Ratatā well, you get the idea) uses detailed storytelling within the lyrics of his original songs. Over the course of his career, Byrd has shared the stage with acts of various genres, including They Might Be Giants, Jay Farrar, Lee DeWyze, and Mike Doughty. His latest album, Phases, was praised as a powerful ātonal thrillerā by Americana Highways.

Fellow Americana artist Greg Felden is touring in celebration of his latest album, Made of Strings, as well. Felden also dabbles in both country, folk, indie, and roots, as evident in the albumās eclectic tunes. Made of Strings marks the artistās solo debut and has been called āsincere and heartbreakingā by Folk Alley and ādeep and poignantā by Rockwrite.

Standing Sun Winery is located at 92 Second St., unit D, Buellton. For more info, call the winery at (805) 691-9413 or visit standingsunwines.com.
