There’s still one more chance to register your child for youth softball in Orcutt. The Orcutt Youth Softball Association is taking signups at Guadalupe City Hall on Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.

All players must provide current proof of address, such as a current utility bill. New players must provide a copy of a birth certificate, and players ages 4 to 12 must provide proof of a school for team assignment purposes. Players ages 13 to 18 will be assigned to Division 3 teams via draft.

Tryouts for Division 3 teams will be held at the Lakeview Softball Complex on Jan. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m., and Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be no late registrations after March 19, except for high school students awaiting final cuts for school softball programs.
