On Thursday, April 22, the Santa Ynez Valley Natural History Society will host a webinar featuring author Lyanda Lynn Haupt (pictured right), who will be discussing her latest book, Rooted: Life at the Crossroads of Science, Nature, and Spirit, at 7 p.m., via Zoom. Haupt has described the new book as an invitation to acknowledge that “together we are grounded on this beautiful planet, we are rooted with all beings,” she said in press materials.
