The Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program and the Solvang Parks and Recreation department are teaming up to offer a summer horseback riding camp from July 23 to 27.

The camp, for children 7 to 12, offers all levels of instruction and includes horseback riding, crafts, and horsemanship by certified instructors. The camp is limited to 12 campers. A snack, helmet, and tack will be provided.

The cost is $175 for Monday, Wednesday and Friday sessions, $120 for Tuesday and Thursday sessions, and $285 for all five days. All sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon.

Lessons will take place at the SYV Equestrian Center, 195 Refugio Road in Santa Ynez.
