Intuitive Drawing is set to host a quaint intimate weekend workshop retreat Feb. 4 through 6 at the Rancho Alamo Camp 1. Surrounded by redwood, oak, and cypress trees, attendees will form groups of six and stay in a three-bedroom, two-bath cottage while exploring art making at The C Gallery.
Intuitive Drawing requires no preliminary art experience and has been called “process drawing” or “authentic drawing” because it relies on mark making from within, not from a bevy of drawing techniques.
Disney American Teacher Honoree Connie Rohde will facilitate the workshop.
The cost is $335 per person, which includes more than eight hours of instruction, materials with frames, two nights of lodging two in a room, all meals except Saturday night dinner, and two wine tastings. For more information, visit thecgallery.com or call 344-3807.
