With record heat on the Central Coast, there’s no better time to get into a new sport—if that sport involves lots of water, that is. Luckily One Way Water polo is offering the first two weeks of lessons free to anyone willing to try the sport.
And by anyone, they mean anyone, cjildren and adults. One Way recently had their first Masters Day, a time for grown ups to play water polo against other grown-ups. The masters practice Sundays at the Paul Nelson Aquatic Center from 9 to 10 a.m.
Starting at 10 a.m. and going until noon, it’s the kid’s time in the pool. Both youth and masters water polo are open to all levels of players. Go to www.onewaywaterpolo.com for more information.
