• Joe White Memorial Auction: Rare and one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia will be up for bid at Allan Hancock College’s 10th annual Joe White Memorial Dinner and Auction on Aug. 20. The auction takes place at the Santa Maria Fairpark Pavilion, 937 South Thornburg in Santa Maria. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour and silent auction, followed by a steak dinner, held promptly at 7:07 p.m. The event finishes off with the live auction.
