The Grossman Gallery is displaying the work of oil landscape artist Marilyn Stankewich at the Lompoc Library. The public is invited to a reception event, which will be held at 501 E. North Ave., Lompoc, on Jan. 13 from 2 to 5 p.m.
Painting landscapes from the California coastline, and the woods and mountains of Montana, where Stankewich lived with her husband for 13 years before moving to California. They still occasionally travel to their cabin in the Rocky Mountains, according to the Lompoc Library. Stankewich is a member of the Lompoc Art Association and an award winner at their juried shows.
