The Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria Valley and the Kiwanis Sponsored Leadership Youth Clubs will be preparing and serving fresh hot cocoa at the Santa Maria Christmas Parade on Dec. 6 along with the parade as it proceeds down Broadway beginning at 4:30 p.m. Club members will be selling 12 ounce cups of hot cocoa for $2 each.
The Kiwanis Sponsored Leadership Youth Clubs are the Key Clubs of the local high schools along with the Builders Club of El Camino Junior High School and the One Way Water Polo Youth Club. Proceeds raised by the young volunteers will go back to the local community, including support service projects that benefit locals.
