Children ages 9 to 14 can compete in track and field events at the annual Hershey’s Track and Field Games on May 21.
The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department, the Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Maria will present the free event starting at 10 a.m. at Pioneer Valley High School.Participants can compete in several running and field events, with top performers advancing to the Hershey’s Northern California State Games. Pre-registration at the Recreation and Parks Department administrative office is required by May 18.
