The Lompoc Valley Community Youth Center will be host to the 2011 YAOI Golf Challenge at the Village Country Club on Aug. 19, a benefit for the organization.
Participants in the four-man scramble tournament will earn pledges for the
event, similar to walk relays, and will be challenged to send sponsorship letters or e-mails to at least 50 people. The goal for each participant is a minimum of $500 in pledges. Prizes will be awarded to individuals and teams.
