The C Gallery in Los Alamos is currently showing the exhibit Natural Tendencies, which is a showcase of works by members of the group Fibervision, a location coalition of artists who use fiber to create their fine art pieces. Opening Nov. 15 and showing through Jan. 14, Natural Tendencies includes works by Fibervision artists and sculptures by Albert McCurdy.

Fibervision is made up of 22 local artists from Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties. Natural Tendencies will include works by Andrea Perejda, Belinda Hart, Gay McNeal, Jeanne Surber, Judy Rys, Rene Jennings, Lou Ann Smith, and Diana Acevedo. The artists work with fibers such as silk, cotton, papers, and threads to create works akin to tapestry or other decorative forms.

The C Gallery is located at 466 Bell St., Los Alamos. The opening reception is Nov. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. More information is available at 344-3807 or thecgallery.com.
