If it’s the weekend and the ground starts shaking, don’t panic—it just might be Harleys and hotrods rolling into the Santa Maria Fairpark.

First, Quick Throttle and Santa Maria Harley-Davidson present “Santa Maria Motorcycle Madness” on May 16 and 17. The event includes bike shows, games, slow races, concerts from bands like the Filthies and Klockwize, bike vendors, and custom builders. Gates open at 9 a.m. on both days.

VIP weekend passes are available for $50 online and include ride-in entry for both days, free show entry, passes for concerts, free camping, and a T-shirt. Daily passes are $20 each, and group ride-in passes are $15 for a day or $40 for the weekend. Camping passes for RVs are $75.

From May 22 to 24, pre-1961 American-made hot rods and custom cruisers from all over the country invade the Fairpark for West Coast Kustoms’ 28th annual Cruisin’ Nationals auto show.

While the cars will be the center of attention, there’ll be plenty else to entertain—like live rockabilly music from the Hydramatics, the Vargas Brothers, and Rumble King; barbecues; model car shows; and a roller rink.

Registration for the event is $60 and includes vehicle entry, a dash plaque, an event pin, and participation in all planned activities. Exhibit trailers to be parked in the show must register separately for a $25 fee.

Daily admission is $12 for adult spectators, $6 for seniors 60 and older, and free for children 10 and younger and military members. Two-day passes are $20 for adults.
