The 2011 Santa Barbara County Golf Championship is currently accepting entries for its 36-hole tournament to be held at the La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc Oct. 22 to 23.
The tournament is open to amateur golfers 18 years of age and older and approved by the competition committee. The cost is $150 and includes green fees for both days, a prize fund, and a barbecue. Carts will be optional and cost $10 each day.
Players must choose between a championship flight or net flight. Net flight competitors must have valid USGA handicaps. Play is limited to the first 108 entries, and entries will be closed on Oct. 19 at noon. Starting times will be announced Oct. 20.
