The Lompoc Police Activities League—in conjunction with Home Depot, Lompoc Parks & Recreation, and Lompoc YMCA—will be host to a series of workshops to gear up for the city’s Pinewood Derby Race on March 17 at Anderson Recreation Center.
The workshops are open to all kids ages 5 and older, and will be held at the Lompoc Home Depot on Feb. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m., at La Honda Elementary School on March 1 at 6:30 p.m., and at Clarence Ruth Elementary on March 8 at 6:30 p.m. Children must be registered to attend.
