Do you want to make a difference in the lives of youth and promote healthy lifestyles? The Police Activities League is recruiting caring individuals to become mentors for children and young adults in the Santa Maria community.
The P.A.L. Mentoring program will require mentors to spend an hour each week with a youth in after-school or evening programs. Mentors and teens will engage one-on-one in activities including sports, games, music, arts and crafts, and more.
All mentors are required to go through a screening process and training program before being accepted.
For more information on the P.A.L. Mentoring Program, call Teresa Mitchell at 925-0951, Ext. 504.
