John Voehl, Abraham Lincoln impersonator and historian, is visiting the Lompoc Public Library on May 23 for a free presentation. Voehl will discuss “The Gettysburg Address” and other highlights of Lincoln’s life. The presentation starts at 6 p.m. in the library’s Grossman Gallery.

Over a career spanning 20 years, Voehl has hosted more than a thousand Lincoln presentations in which he discussed the development and realization of the Gettysburg National Cemetery, where Lincoln gave his famous speech during the Civil War. In his performances, Voehl also discusses the Battle of Gettysburg and other Civil War topics.

The Lincoln presentation starts at 6 p.m. on May 23 in the Grossman Gallery of the Lompoc Public Library, located at 501 E. North Ave., Lompoc. More info: 875-8775 or abelincolnalive.com.
