I make no apology for accusing liberals of being wrong-headed. They ignore the facts, defy logic, and display little common sense. One Obamacare supporter writes, āWith government already providing health care access to our elderly, veterans, children, destitute, and Native Americans, providing access to those remaining could not be properly be called a government takeover.ā And, āIf done carefully, [merging] agencies already providing health care ⦠would result in reduced government.ā
Not a takeover? Reduced government? On what planet? Everyone knows that government is by nature inefficient, costly, and corrupt, and that any entitlement comes at too high a price. Constantly having to explain such common and self-evident knowledge to these people is not only frustrating, itās embarrassing. Itās kind of like trying to teach a pig to sing. It just makes the teacher mad and irritates the pig.
If you donāt mind incompetent, meddling politicians choosing your doctor, medical plan, and treatments, Obamacare is for you. But when this hope and change doesnāt work, donāt start blaming the rest of us ignorant, obstructionist conservatives because weāre not listening. Weāre too busy trying to teach pigs to sing.
