The recently proposed vaccine mandate is completely unjustified. First of all, herd immunity is a concept that applies to naturally acquired immunity. It has never been proven to have significant relevance to vaccination. Many of the past epidemics that were said to have been resolved by vaccines were already in decline from natural herd immunity before the vaccine came out. Big Pharma doesn’t support the research and application of natural prevention and cures because there is no money in it. Considering that many other pharmaceutical products treat one condition, but at the same time cause other problems, you shouldn’t doubt that the same may be true for vaccines. In fact, people have won settlements for vaccine injury in “vaccine courts.” Isn’t it suspicious that they have specialized courts for vaccine cases?

Even if herd immunity were a valid argument for vaccination, the 95 percent threshold would be impossible to achieve, since kids come in contact with many people other than their classmates. Considering all the facts, it’s obvious that vaccination should only be a choice, not a mandate. Also, if one chooses vaccines, they should be given an informed consent form to sign stating honestly the risks versus benefits and the vaccine ingredients.
