As a teacher for 37 years at Santa Maria High, I’ve supported my union, but boy, the folks in Sacramento sure got it wrong with their endorsement of Jordan Cunningham.
It would be nice to know what he promised to the union and how that jibes with his other, contradictory positions.
Dawn Otiz-Legg has always been forthright even if it costs her support. Nevertheless, Dawn’s principles and priorities assure me that providing a quality education for our kids will be a top priority when she is elected to the Assembly.
Her powerful commitment to providing good jobs, especially good paying entry-level jobs is the most important service she can provide my students.
Even though I’m retired, my teacher’s sense is telling me Cunningham isn’t nearly so reliable.
