Excellent and intriguing article concerning our Santa Maria police chief (“Betraying the badge?” July 21).
It is very encouraging to see some investigative reporting (and hopefully follow ups!) in our local news press. Unfortunately, we never get any type of investigation or follow up from KCOY or the Santa Maria Times. They seem only interested in reporting the news that the city leaders and police department provide them.
Kudos! Keep up the excellent work!
