How could you politicians put 40 million Californians in such peril as to deliberately shut off our power? There is absolutely no justification for that. We all stand to lose by the actions of our state governor. Our lives and property are at risk by these actions. A fire is not a disaster unless you allow it to be so by your actions.Ā

Forcing the power companies to be liable for all events is irrational and stupid. Fires are acts of God, and you cannot hold one group responsible. Accidents happen every day and we do not hold everyone liable. As long as the power companies are making a reasonable effort to maintain their facilities, we cannot hold them responsible. After all, we all pay for our power service, and we do own it and are responsible.Ā

You liberals up there in Sacramento have a very hostile attitude against private business, and this is one way it shows. We need to restore common sense and stop power shutoffs. They are a crime against all of us!
