Your Sept. 30 issue carries a “paid advertisement” (page 4). It does not mention who paid for it. I assume Andy Caldwell. This “ad” is negative toward our excellent Congresswoman Lois Capps. The “ad” encourages phoning or e-mailing Lois to get her on Caldwell’s program, which he claims is the “only show” in the afternoon on the coast.
Not true! There is a much better “talk” program: Dave Congalton on KVEC 920 AM 3 to 7 p.m. Lois was on the program recently.
Years ago, I tried to get on the Caldwell talk program, and he told me never to call in again. Lois is way ahead of her opponent and doing an excellent job in Congress. I agree with Lois.
She is not “ducking the voters”—just Caldwell.
