How is everybody doing? This is to clarify that while Mr. Khan (“A Muslim speaks,” April 27) is entitled to his own opinion, he is in no way, shape, or form associated with the Islamic Center of Santa Maria. In fact, we do not know who he is. He is not a member of the center and never attended any congregations/regular meetings.
We strongly disagree with the content of his letter. Everybody is free to practice their religion of choice and not judge anyone similar or different than him, in faith, habits, or lifestyle. We were offended by the content of the letter as much as anybody else would be, and in no way agree with its contents.
