Jed Beebe is running for judge of the Superior Court of Santa Barbara County. Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked with him and known him personally, as a friend and a neighbor.
If elected, Jed will be a remarkable judge. With more than 30 years of legal experience, including the last 18 years as a research attorney at the Superior Court, he has already acquired the experience and temperament necessary to effectively run a courtroom. He has already acted as a temporary judge, deciding civil, criminal, juvenile, and traffic matters.
It’s my personal experience that Jed values fairness and evenhandness. He does the research and spends the time required on each case because it is important to him to, as he says, “get it right.” Jed is committed to justice for everyone.
I value Jed’s intelligence, hard work, and work ethic. Just as much, I value his commitment to his community and to the arts. Jed is a violinist with the Lompoc Pops and the Santa Maria Philharmonic. Over the years, at celebrations in the legal community and beyond, I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Jed beautifully close the party with his violin.
More than 16 judges have endorsed Jed. The verdict is in: It’s Jed Beebe for judge.
