It has been an honor for me to run for U.S. Congress in the November general election to represent the people in the 23rd District in California. When I immigrated to America at 16 by myself, little did I imagine that one day I would be able to do this. I thank the tens of thousands of people who voted for me. Unfortunately, I did not win this time.

More than 60,000 voters validated my message of a better future for America. It is wrong for the older generation to have created an $11 trillion debt for the younger generation to pay off. A better economic future calls for balanced budgets, not bailouts, nor socialism. Let’s re-start our productive capitalist economic engine.

A better future will make us energy independent as we develop all energy sources, including drilling for gas and oil. We need solar, wind, hydrogen, nuclear, and other sources while we also conserve more. Instead of being held hostage by adversarial governments for energy, we will develop our own resources, keep high paying jobs at home, retain the capital here for investment and income, and encourage new innovation.

A better future will also secure America’s borders and keep terrorists out. We will support our own citizens before offering special benefits for those who illegally broke into the United States.

I will continue advocating this message and look forward to hearing your comments about your concerns and our national priorities. Thank you again.
