An interesting fact Iāve noticed about each of the Republicans vying to be president is that all talk about the excessive spending going on in Washington and that each in his or her way will end it all.
Please note that all but one of them is from a Red State. Red being the fact that their home state contributes less to the national treasury in the form of taxes and revenue than it receives back in perks, lavish military contracts, or other beneficial monies. I see them as welfare states to all us Blue States who pay more than our fair share.
I have yet to hear one of these conservative individuals clearly state how he or she will start by cutting back this excessive spending in their own backyard. Put your money where your mouth is, people. You all speak with forked tongue.
Campaign promises are simply battle cries that are hollow and meaningless and are not expected to be fulfilled. Theyāre specifically designed to capture votes from an uninformed public. Do your homework, folks, and donāt fall for these manufactured lies and sound bites.
