Today we were driving 50 on Orcutt Road in the country when a motorcyclist with a short-sleeved T zoomed past us at twice that speed. When he has an āaccident,ā who will pay the medical bills? The answer is we, the sane, responsible people.

The Arroyo Grande council noted that when people riding the dunes get injured, they are cared for in our hospital, but it rarely gets paid by the injured parties or their families.

We need a law that drivers, no matter what vehicles they drive, have medical insuranceānot just the couple thousand that is required for a driverās license, but full medical insurance.
