Recently mailboxes throughout the 4th District, including mine, have been stuffed almost daily with fliers promoting Republican Eddie Ozeta or demonizing incumbent Peter Adam. The fliers make Ozeta appear like a stalwart taxpayer defending public servants, and embracing the principles of conservative republicanism.
I’m one of those voters who likes to fact check candidates and found it’s all intended to dupe the voter. Ozeta is far from being a Republican, in truth he is a SEIU union boss being bankrolled heavily by public employee unions, not conservative groups. Ozeta has consistently striven to expand government and is all about padding the wallets of government employees. He says he will advocate to bring jobs to our county”what he really means is government jobs paid out of your wallet.
I guess liberals in the 4th District try to pass themselves off as conservatives to win here. If Ozeta was such a conservative why did he financially support and endorse Janet Wolf, arguably the most liberal and off-the-wall supervisor in the county?
Don’t be duped, they are hoping you believe everything you hear is truth in that barrage of fliers, but in reality they are trying to con you into voting for a union fanatic.
Peter Adam is a man who does what he says he will do and he has been championing the taxpayers of the 4th District. His record is clear and his door is always open to those who need his help or have an issue with the county. Peter is relentless in rooting out government waste. A true public servant, it would be a travesty to trade a hard-working native son for a public employee seeking to fill the coffers of county government
