Nipomo’s new age bookstore, Wisdom Island, has more in store beginning Feb. 27, when customers can see what the future holds and learn more about raw foods.

First, from noon to 4 p.m., Wisdom Island welcomes medium and channeler James Milanesa for pSychic Saturdays. Customers will be able to purchase readings at $35 for a half hour or $60 for an hour. The series continues throughout March.

Then, from 4 to 6 p.m., herbalist and Ayurvedic practitioner Greg Money will lecture on “Raw Foods Fundamentals,” covering topics such as sprouting, soups, green drinks, main dishes, and desserts. The cost to attend, including all materials, is $20 per person. All payments can be made ahead of time or in store on the day of the event.

Wisdom Island is located at 505 Orchard, suite H, in Nipomo.
