What better way to raise money and have a good time than with wine and food?

On July 31, a wine and food celebration held in sunny Los Angeles will benefit the Michael Bonaccorsi Endowment at Allan Hancock College.

Wally’s eighth annual Central Coast Wine and Food Celebration will offer nearly 150 of the Central Coast’s top wines from 60 prestigious wineries for tasting.

Event organizers are anticipating 600 guests, with ticket prices totaling $95 per person.

The Michael Bonaccorsi Endowment was set up by the Michael Bonaccorsi Foundation to provide scholarship money to stellar students in the college’s enology and viticulture program. The endowment was established in memory of Bonaccorsi, a California winemaker who met an untimely death at the age of 43.

Through the endowment, Bonaccorsi’s memory will continue to inspire future generations of California winemakers, as well as create a legacy at the college.

Allan Hancock College is one of a select few California community colleges that operates its own vineyard and winery.
