Women’s Economic Ventures announced Rabobank North America has awarded the group a $10,000 gift to support its new Thrive-in-Five program.

Rabobank North America Executive Vice President Donald Toussaint, Senior Vice President Fred Mendez, and Vice President Ida Pointer-Gomez presented the check to WEV’s founder, Marsha Bailey, at the group’s Santa Barbara offices.

WEV offers business loans to low-income women in Santa Barbara County and will introduce the Thrive-in-Five program in March, serving an initial group of 25 business owners. The program will focus on entrepreneurs who have already written a business plan but need help launching, stabilizing, and/or growing their companies.
