Peoples’ Self Help Housing is an organization that develops and manages affordable rental housing in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, and the group recently received an influx of cash from the Wells Fargo Foundation.
“Wells Fargo is proud to support organizations like Peoples’ Self-Help Housing who are working to strengthen our communities. We direct our giving to areas that we believe are important to the future of our nation’s vitality and success: community development, education, and human services,” Randy Chun, of the Wells Fargo Foundation, said in a press release.
The $45,000 donated by the foundation will help support six youth education centers and the free, supportive social services that Peoples’ Self Help Housing provides for its 6,000 tenants. For more information on the organization and its activities, visit www.pshhc.org.
