Drivers should expect detours and delays while motoring through the intersection of Blosser Road and Main Street (Highway 166), according to a press release from the city of Santa Maria.

Construction crews are almost finished with the South Blosser Road water transmission main. Traffic near Main Street and Blosser Road will
be routed around the work zone, and a traffic
signal will be placed in the intersection during
working hours.

Construction is expected to occur from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 13, and Aug. 17 through 20. Drivers will experience delays at the intersection due to lane reductions, flagging operations, and detours at the intersection.
