On March 26, there will be a memorial service honoring the life of Fess Parker—the 1950s face of Davey Crockett who went on to become a successful Central Coast entrepreneur—at 2 p.m. at the Fess Parker DoubleTree resort in Santa Barbara. Parker, who died on March 18 at the age of 85, is survived by his wife, Marcella, his two children, and 11 grandchildren.
