The Lompoc Police Department arrested three men on May 28 in connection to a May 18 gang-related shooting, according to the department’s Sgt. Kevin Martin.
The shooting occurred at the 1200 block of West College Avenue in Lompoc, where a victim was shot in the back and later treated and released, Martin told the Sun. An investigation followed, in which the department determined Isaiah Adams as the shooting suspect.
Two other men, Miguel Gonzalez and Alfonso Roa, allegedly accompanied Adams in the shooting, Martin said. All three men have alleged ties to a local street gang.
Lompoc Police Department officers obtained search warrants and investigated the residences of each of the three suspects, Martin said. The search recovered two firearms and ammunition.
