National restaurant chain Wingstop is flying in to Santa Maria, opening its first location on the Central Coast. Represented by Michael Martz and Kristopher Roth of Hayes Commercial Group, Wingstop will move into its new space at 560 E. Betteravia Road.

Wingstop presents a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere with a focus on cooked-to-order chicken wings. Side dishes include fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, potato salad, creamy coleslaw, vegetable sticks, rolls, and assorted dipping sauces.

The chain has received an American Business Award for Best Overall Company and was chosen Wing King at the 2006 National Buffalo Wing Festival. Wingstop expanded to 650 locations in 12 years of franchising.
