During these turbulent financial times, the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is in desperate need of sponsors in order to produce this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show.
The show, which takes place at the Santa Maria Fairpark, will cost the city about $15,000. So far, Rabobank, the Santa Maria Times, People for Leisure and Youth, Charter Brokerage, and the chamber have all pledged money to keep the community event alive.
