It’s never too early to start preparing for the 2010 Santa Barbara County Fair. The Santa Maria Fairpark is already beginning to register independent livestock exhibitors for the event, held next year from July 14
to 18.
Independent exhibitors aren’t affiliated with 4-H, Future Farmers of America, or the Grange Club. Exhibitors must be at least 9 years old by Jan. 1, but not older than 18 prior to the date, to be eligible to show.
The deadline to register is Jan. 31, and
all online entries, receipts, and entry fees are due by 5 p.m. on May 22. Registration letters may be directed to Dennis Pearson
at the Santa Maria Fairpark, located at 937 S. Thornburg St.
