The city of Santa Maria is inviting local teachers and their students to explore Santa Maria’s newest outdoor classroom, Los Flores Ranch Park, this fall.

The park offers views of the surrounding Central Coast hills, and the opportunity for students to learn about local wildlife and participate in a handful of recreational activities. Volunteer student environmental education positions are also available.

Los Flores Ranch Park is located about eight miles south of Santa Maria off of Highway 101 in Solomon Hills.

For more information about the park or to set up a field trip, contact Los Flores Ranch Park Coordinator Billy Vinnedge at 925-0951, Ext. 1201.
