Need an outfit or special gift for a birthday, wedding, or other special event? Ruby Red Fashion Boutique and the Santa Maria Women’s Network are teaming up for an “Afternoon of Fashion Shopping” on June 3.
Drawings for prizes will take place at the event, and wine and light refreshments
will be served. Ten percent of all sales will go toward the Santa Maria Women’s Scholarship Fund.
The Women’s Network has used the fund to award scholarships of up to $500 on a quarterly basis to women, men, and community organizations in the greater Santa Maria area. Scholarships are available for educational endeavors and job placement and are awarded based on need and the applicant’s potential contribution to the community.
The event takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Ruby Red Fashion Boutique, located at 722 E. Main St., suite 10, in Santa Maria.
