Summer is fast approaching, and Orcutt’s Oasis Senior Center will be celebrating the season’s arrival with a day of fun on May 22.
The Center’s “Day in the Sun” event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., culminating with a tri-tip barbecue beginning at 11 a.m., compliments of the Orcutt Lions Club. Plates cost $7 each and include a sandwich, chips, and a drink. There will also be a yard sale, plant sale, and bake sale for attendees.
Luis Oasis Senior Center is located at 420 Soares Ave. in Old Orcutt.
