In honor of Santa Maria’s education-friendly businesses, the Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council and Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting the 2009 business appreciation luncheon, “Wild About Partnerships,” on Sept. 9 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge.
The luncheon will include an awards ceremony to recognize the valley’s most outstanding contributions to community youth.
Cost is $17 per person, and reservations must be made by Sept. 4.
