Santa Maria High School students took on school and future opportunities during the annual March of the Saints celebration on Friday, Aug. 12.

The event took place on the football field where students checked out school clubs, activities, athletic programs, and colleges, and heard from countless alumni about their careers.Ā

More than 1,500 students participated and explored potential school and career interests. Afterward, the students returned to their classes for candid discussions about the experience.Ā

Principal Joe Domingues said the alumni have proven to be motivating and engaging role models.

ā€œThey make our students believe they can live up to their potentials and accomplish great things,ā€ Domingues said in a press release. ā€œThis has become a wonderful tradition that leads to friendships and positive connections.ā€
