Dr. Steven Posson has been testing his “on-time” model of seeing patients for the last year in Santa Maria. Now, he’s moving shop to 1353 Shell Beach Road in Pismo Beach.
His new office is called The Doctor Is In Center for Family Health, and treats patients differently than most practices, according to a press release.
“I know the way I want to be treated when going to the doctor, and I just thought other people might like that, too,” Posson said in a release. “We see patients on-time, never leave their side, and make sure they get all their questions answered. When they leave, they feel like they were listened to and understood.”
The doctors and staff at The Doctor Is In built the office without a waiting room.
“As far as I know, it is the first medical office like it in California,” Posson said.
